Inclusion Support Agencies are part of the Child Care Inclusion and Professional Support Program. The aim of the
Inclusion Support Agencies is to promote and maintain high quality care and inclusion for all children in eligible
child care services. The target groups for inclusion support are:
Children with a disability, including children with a high support needs
Children from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds
Children with a refugee or humanitarian intervention background who have been subjected to torture or trauma,
either in their country of origin or during their refugee experience
Indigenous children
The Inclusion Agencies (ISAs) operate on a regional basis and employ teams of Inclusion
Support Facilitators (ISFs) to work at the local level with child care services.
ISFs assist child care services to build their skill base and capacity to include children
with additional needs.
