This week Noah’s Ark had the privilege of hosting Associate Professor Tara McLaughlin (Massey University) to train some of our staff in Embedded Learning Support and Practice Based Coaching, as we commence our pilot of Embedded Learning Support Australia.

Over the past 12 months, Noah’s Ark has been working closely with Distinguished Professor Pat Snyder (University of Florida) and Associate Professor Tara McLaughlin to develop an approach to pilot Embedded Learning Support in an Australian context and we are excited to see this work start to take shape.

In 2025, Noah’s Ark will be partnering with Early Childhood Management Services, Koorana Child and Family Services and Noah’s Inclusion Services and the University of Florida and Massey University to pilot Embedded Learning Support in an Australian context.

The first stage in this work was for our Noah’s Ark implementation leads, Stephen Carberry, Jen Galvin and Brooke Serpell to engage in deep learning and reflection to inform the coaching support they will be providing to services. It’s been an exciting week of learning, reflecting, collaborating and problem solving together to commence this important piece of work.

We are excited to be leading the implementation of an evidence-based, inclusive approach to supporting learning, development and inclusion in early childhood settings and look forward to sharing this journey over the year ahead.
