In early October, Noah’s Ark had the incredible honour of presenting at the 2025 Early Childhood Australia National Conference, 'Universal not Uniform: Leading change, strengthening unity and honouring individuality', which was held in Perth/Boorloo, Western Australia. Noah’s Ark CEO John Forster and Operations Manager, Sarah Denholm MAICD represented Noah’s Ark by presenting a concurrent session titled, 'Bridging policy and practice: Enhancing universal early childhood services for children with developmental delays through multi-tiered systems of support and embedded learning approaches'.

In the session, John and Sarah talked to the journey from policy to practice, highlighting the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration, professional learning for educators, and tailored intervention strategies to foster inclusion. The presentation also shared the current work of Noah’s Ark’s Embedded Learning Support pilot project in focusing on reimagining service design through the application of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and the use of the Embedded Learning approach. John and Sarah shared how, ultimately, the work we are doing contributes to the broader goal of ensuring that all children, regardless of ability, have access to high-quality, inclusive education and care.

The conference attracted over 1500 in-person attendees and nearly 300 virtual delegates and offered many terrific opportunities for professional learning and networking. Noah’s Ark thanks everyone who joined John and Sarah for the presentation and for the interest and curious and thoughtful questions around embedded learning.
