About this Activity
This group program is an Occupational Therapist led gross motor skills group incorporating the use of community play facilities.
Parent Involvement
Parents/Carers are integral partners in this program and will be required to always participate with their child.
To get the most out of this group you need to...
- Be able to move your body and your arms by yourself
- Engage in a small group setting
- Be able to follow 1-2 step instructions.
Outcomes:
- Improved social skills, communication skills and technical skills
- Improved participation and inclusion in peer, family and/or community activities
- Developing gross motor skills, including body-awareness and strength.
What does the program include?
- 1.5 hour Individual Assessment
- 5 Group Sessions of 2 hours each
- 4.5 Preparation/Reporting hours (non Face-to-Face).
